Device is accurate, handy, and helpful to know if one is league to drive or should call a taxi. Love it! Pays for itself in taxi fare savings.
Seems accurate and is great to have just to familiarize yourself what one glass of wine vs 2 glasses, etc. you don’t have to feel inebriated to be over limit. Traveling overseas will be useful as they have even lower limits. I like a glass of wine but over that, UBER OR Lyft is an easy choice to make!

Accurate for BAC level.
My wife does not like me to drink. She does not drink...and I do. I just don't want to injure anyone or end up in jail. With that in mind, I recommend buying this device as it is both accurate and convenient to use. If you blow high, then call your wife, call an Uber, or stay put until you are within the legal range. Best to never drink and drive, but if you are out and have had a few. Better to know your number than to meet a police officer or trooper who will happily administer the test using his breathalizer.

I just received my unit. Read the directions carefully about how and when to breathe into the unit when running a test. That one issue was a stumbling block for some, but it went well once they understood the process. We had a wine dinner, and we all tested periodically. It was fascinating to watch the results change as we continued to drink. Remember that this review is based on a brand new unit.

In the final months of IID with the registry. The morning after is where the pain is. Purchased this to measure BAC before heading out in the morning, cannot afford violations or lock outs. This has been very accurate and let me know that some more time left to wait and it hasn’t failed. The money is well worth avoiding the extra six months of IID
I really like having this in my car, for those times you decide to have two or three drinks over a period of time, feel fine to drive, but want to be sure. I wouldn’t bet my life on it, so be smart, but having this is much better than guessing you’re fine. Easy to use too, even when you’re smashed…kidding.
The same amount of alcohol consumed has different effects on me depending on other factors like what I've eaten, and I love that I can get an objective idea of where I'm at by using this device.
This was an excellent product. I had a breathalyzer installed on my car. Every time I would drink , I would use this product to test my bac level. Once it said 0.00 (after a few hours of waiting), I would get on my car, blow on the breathalyzer installed on my car, and drive with no problem. The breathalyzer in my car never gave me a problem. This product really helped me a lot . I would recommend this product to anyone any day !
I have used this machine for years and almost 1000 tests. I had full confidence in the accuracy of my unit. It was very consistent and predictable and never seemed off. Results were right on and just what you would expect. Especially when compared to other people that have had various amounts of alcohol. You can have multiple people try it and it always seemed accurate. I have no doubt that it save me from big trouble.
This is easy to use kit. Comes in a nice case and feels quality in the hand. This is a great way to keep from getting a DUI and also works as a fun party for event.

We needed a way to comply with the USCG regulations for performing breath tests within two hours for random drug and alcohol screening. This device is portable and works well. I have also used it at parties to show people the effects of drinks on THEIR body. Quite surprising how fast a .04 alcohol level is reached. I also take it with me to screen myself if I am going to be driving. This is a great investment in not getting a DUI!

At first I thought I would use this as secondary guide to help decide about driving (which it turns out they specifically recommend against), but after using it I realized my drinking style doesn't typically bring me above 0.06, and even at 0.07 I feel more comfortable waiting before driving anyway since I drink infrequently unless I'm on vacation.
It's also fun to prove to your friends how intoxicated they are when they say they are fine!
We compared this to a police officers Breathalyzer, and it was the exact same reading. It's a very good tool to keep with you in those just in case you feel fine moments. If anyone blows over a .04 (half the legal limit where I live) we don't drive. ( just to give us that extra buffer)
This little device right here, I just take a little blow and it tells me when it's time for a little top up! When I first got this I used to ride it around 0.20, but now I leave it at 0.12 which is perfect. It's right in the slot, just past the click. Oh, look at that, 0.10, time for a little drinky-poo! Time to go up another floor.
Had a similar device back in 2000. Seemed to have work but was inconsistent with results all over the place. Purchased this out of curiosity having noticed my social drinking has picked up since COVID. In the safety of my own home, purchased a 4 pack of my favorite IPA that is 7.8% and tested away. After two cans, i was just under my state's legal limit of 0.08. Cans 3 and 4 were incrementally higher. Tried a week or so later, very similar results. Have also tried with other beverages such as my favorite red wine. Overall, very impressed.

I bought this to replace a long since defunct Alcohawk unit. I experienced the same FLO error that people describe the 1st time I tried to use it. Forutnately, it worked perfectly the next day and ever since. I think the results seems accurate and consistent with what I feel my "state" is. I'd certainly recommend this unit so far.
