Nice toy for the price. Balls are like ping pong balls. My cat really enjoyed it. Product came with a tracking number which was nice since it came from over seas.
MY CAT LOVES IT . KEEPS HIM OCCUPIED FOR HOURS
My cat likes ball in track toys, and this seems to be her new favorite, likely due to it having three ball tracks instead of merely 1 or 2. Besides the triple design, the other interesting aspect is that it allows my cat to smack the balls through horizontal rather than vertical holes, which she seems to prefer. IMO, If your cat enjoys balls, and especially ball in track toys, this one is a great choice.
This is by far the best investment in a toy that I have ever made for my cat. He loves interaction with it and did not like other ball chasers in the past. I did a YouTube review on it and highly recommend it. Balls glide around smoothly. Cats paws don't get stuck in the tracks. Balls are brightly colored and easy to see for my one eyed little boy who has depth perception issues with his vision. I saw bad reviews and double checked that this is an improved toy that comes with the bar across the top so my little fur ball wouldn't get his head stuck if he tried looking inside it (though I doubt he would). I hear him playing with it at least a few times a day, and I tell you the God's honest truth, as I'm writing this review, he just went over and laid next to it and swatted a ball, just this minute!
Our cats love ball in track toys, and this is their new favorite with three tiers they can access horizontally. Other reviews mention a safety problem but it has been corrected with a bar across the top of this version. It measures 10" diameter at the bottom (same as inside cardboard scratcher circle of turbo scratcher) and 5-1/4" tall. It is lightweight but has 4 small rubber feet to keep it from sliding. It didn't tip or move with 4 adult cats playing with it.
We adopted our three month old kitten, Mulder, last week. He absolutely loves playing with bell balls and ping pong balls, but he also has a habit of getting them stuck behind the couch, which means his play time is short-lived. Then, we end up spending time trying to track down where he's hidden all of his toys. This tower is his new favorite thing in the world. I pulled it out of the box and he played with it for over an hour, until he literally almost fell asleep on top of it. This is a great affordable toy for kittens that gives them a chance to entertain themselves. He usually follows us all around the house, but he doesn't even look up from the ball tower when we leave the room. If you have a new kitten that likes ball toys, I highly recommend this toy for hours of fun. No more chasing balls under the couch! Mulder's getting a good workout with this one, and I now have a dozen videos like this one of him being the best kitten in the world.
Great cat toy, my 20 pound, 13 year old main coon who bats my size 13 shoes around when he feels like playing loves it! It has rubber feet on the bottom which keep it from going flying everytime he touches it, it does move around a bit however he has yet to flip it over. It is the new style with the bar across the top.
My cat is 16 years young, and with the passing of his brothers, I wanted to make sure he stays active while I'm at work. He loves the laser pointer and his toys on a stick but the Tower of Tracks keeps him engaged while I'm away. Now if he would quit playing with it at 2 am. LOL. But, seriously a great toy to keep an old guy happy!
I have four cats that are always looking for something to get into or make noise with. After reading reviews I decided to order this toy for my kids. They have all taken turns at it & have only stopped playing with it long enough to eat. I know thats par for a new toy, but this one is different, and YES, it is the one with the bar to protect from little heads getting stuck! It has received the same reception as the Bergan Catnip Hurricane Cat Toy - I bought it last Christmas for them & they still play with it daily. I had to order a new one because I accidentally stepped on it and broke the little tabs off that hold the little part on the big part. Both pieces still work fine separately, but will donate to local animal shelter anyways. It keeps them occupied & entertained for hours, but as any cat owner knows, if your cat likes it, he likes it & if he doesn't, try a little catnip!
I had to come back and add the 5th star to my original 4 star review. This toy apparently holds intrigue for my kitten as she matures. She's 16 weeks now and spends more time with this, often laying on the floor next to it to just bat a lazy ball around every so often. I still rotate this toy with other toys every few days to keep her interest. I found that if I pop a ball out for her to chase once a week or so, that will satisfy her need to succeed in capturing her prey, which heightens her interest in the toy.
I got this toy for my babies (11 week kitten & 17 week kitten) because my mom recommended it to me. The moment I removed the package, my two babies were immediately curious! (Like the nosy kitties they are!) I’m kind of a clean freak so I had to wash it first, but after drying it and setting it on the ground, they immediately went at it.
I’m a single male going to law school, so the cats are perfect for forcing me to take breaks to be entertained or give love to (or more like be loved on!) while I sit at home all day. Most the toys the cats have they do like enough; however, as usual they prefer human “trash” (MULTIPLE boxes with holes cut into them, old shoelaces tied onto cat tree, toilet paper rolls, etc.). Part of that “problem” though, is when they get rowdy they tend to jump all over the boxes making non-stop loud echoing sounds, which considering the mass amounts of schoolwork reading that I have, it can get a little distracting (though it’s not really a problem, I can’t bear to take their boxes away because they have so much fun, and like I stated earlier, it’s good for me, entertainment-wise, too). The only time I take the sound-making toys away is at night before bed so I can actually sleep - which they also have learned through routine is “time for bed.”
However, this toy is, to say the least, amazing and much more quiet than their other toys! It does make normal sounds as as if a ping-pong ball was rolling (not bouncing) on a hard floor, but that is NOTHING in comparison to slamming boxes, bells, etc. And, of course I’m still leaving all the other stuff for them to play with so they have options to choose from, but seriously this thing keeps them the most entertained (a plus for both of us - except, now their new entertainment distracts me because I’m so amused by their own entertainment!)
The quality and idea of it is great. They never actually “win” per say, because they never actually get the ball they vigorously try to obtain. But, they are rewarded just enough by “almost” getting it, by actual contact with the moving ball and their paws - which in turn, makes them want thus chase it even more. This stimulates their minds in a compounding effect.
The weight of the toy is perfect - it’s heavy enough that it has only turn on its side once so far after hours of play (two cats playing hard - I mean, it’s going to happen), but not too heavy where I would be nervous it would hurt them if it tipped over on them/their paws. There are no sharp edges or hard corners.
All in all, I would leave 10 stars if I could (Though in the review it asks me to rank the “stretch” of the toy, which I don’t understand since it has no stretch parts, so I left it blank). This toy is perfect! Also, if it means anything, this review says a lot, because this is the first review I have ever put so much time and effort in! Lol!
My cat, Bayou LOVES to play and is very vocal (remember this part, it will come back in our story). Other cat toys, The Cat’s Meow (basically a plastic wire under a round plastic yellow thin sheet) he figured out IMMEDIATELY. Sat on the plastic wire and meowed very loudly at me to make it work. Small balls or crinkle balls last longer until they end up behind the fridge or dryer and again, meowing very loudly for me to come and get it. (If you think I’m humanizing him, come to my house and give him one of these toys and at 2a he’s MEOWING in your ear and will not stop until you follow him to where he lost his ball.)
I couldn’t use the little mouse in the track toy because the dog thinks it’s for him and suddenly his inner wolf comes out and he starts barking, growling, Andover trying to carry this vicious kill off to his den to destroy.
Tower of Tracks Balls (pause for angelic music). From the second I put it down, it was love at first sight with my cat. He played with it for approximately 30 minutes and would go back to it again and again through out the evening (I even heard him in the early hours of the morning playing with it). The best part is that he is still playing BY HIMSELF!
He’s still playing and loving it. I highly recommend as it’s inexpensive and a great way to keep your cat entertained for hours. I’ve bought for gifts as well.
Our kitten loves this toy. I can also hear her playing with it at night when we aren't up to help entertain her. I haven't had it long enough to say it's durable, but it's staying together for her playing & jumping on it. It does wobble a tad when she's jumping on it, which is to be expected, and it flipped over once when someone had set it halfway on a rug instead of a flat surface. The bar across the top is a nice safety feature as she's dropped her small toy mouse in there & was trying to get it back out. She would've gotten stuck for sure without the bar. We are happy with the purchase because our baby is happy with it. She's about 7 months old and loves it, although last month when it first got here she wasn't interested in it at all. She would only play with her mouse that she carried around to each of us so we would play with her. As soon as she tired of the mouse a bit, this toy came to life. I was very happy we had it here when she was ready for it.
My cat LOVES this. I honestly was not expecting her to like it as much as she did. She started playing with it as soon as it came out of the box. There was no warm up period like there normally is with her new toys. I highly recommend this toy for cats. There's even a nifty little safety bar so she doesn't get her head stuck in the middle.
Kingsley, our 3 legged shelter kitty, loves this toy. Need to state, the shelter took his leg a week before we got him. Our 2 cats have the same number of limbs as we got them with. I felt bad because when I started working from home due to Corona, Inoticed how he just moped around looking bored and sleeping all day. I know that’s the cat life but he looked so sad and super bored. So I bought him like 5 different cat toys. Just like the $45 deluxe cat bed I got them, my cats won’t touch the other 4 toys but this one was a grand slam for Kingsley. Our other cat won’t touch it but she won’t touch anything I buy her. Want to note this is the updated version with the safety bar that was put to good use. My fiancé said that she placed the toy on the floor and the first thing Kingsley tried to do was shove his head down the center. The safety bar worked perfectly and prevented him from getting his head stuck No cat toy is going to work for every cat however at least 1 of our cats like it. The newer version with the safety bar seems to be totally safe too
This is hereby pronounced a WINNER. They played with this for 40 minutes non-stop. One first liked the box it came in better and then kept coming back for a few swipes and then watched and then back in for a few swipes etc. This version with the bar across the top to keep little curious kittys out of trouble is purrfect. That center hole was very fascinating. All 3 balls roll effortlessly and make just enough noise to keep the cats interest peaked but not so loud that it is irritating to human ears. The rubber feet on the bottom keep it from sliding around much and it never once even looked like it could be tipped over or wobble. Excellent purchase.
